It’s hard to believe it’s ONLY been two weeks. It seems like forever! I am not one to sit around and have others do things for me but I am being forced to be that person.
Most days I wake up feeling great and then overdo it and have to go lay down to get my energy back. I walk around the house for “exercise” but that is about all I can do.
Living in Arizona I just can’t walk outside and go for a stroll without sweating and with the plastic stuff wrapped around my incision I have been told not to 😓. Again, easier said than done.
I‘m learning to ask for help when needed and to rest when I am tired. I am hoping to get the drains out this week, the latest next week and then we can start making progress with the expanders.
Each day gets a little easier and I’m getting used to asking for help. This has been a very hard process for me to get use to. With time comes healing and I am ready to put this past me.
I just have to wait for about 4 more months.
